Liverpool have been linked with a massive double deal for Callum Hudson-Odoi and Timo Werner, according to German sources.
Newspaper Sport Bild have said that Chelsea starlet Hudson-Odoi is now on the Reds radar, while striker Werner could also be an option.
Liverpool face competition from Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund for Werner, whose contract runs out in 2020.
Meanwhile, Hudson-Odoi looks likely to leave Stamford Bridge after he rejected the Blues’ offer of a new and improved contract. Sky Sports wrote that the London side offered £85,000-a-week, which the youngster has rejected.

All the chatter had been about Munich’s interest in the forward. The Bundesliga giants have made four bids for Hudson-Odio, said the report. Their latest offer of £35 million is understood to meet Chelsea’s valuation of their starlet.
Liverpool have taken a youngster off the Stamford Bridge books before, but they’ll be hoping that any deal turns out better than the one for Dominic Solanke.
This should have been Solanke’s breakthrough, yet he didn’t play a single minute of first team football and was sold to Bournemouth in the January transfer window.
The bidding war for Hudson-Odoi indicates that he’s at a level Solanke is yet to reach, and whoever can offer him the most first-team football would look well placed to win the race to sign the Chelsea lad.
But if he is an unpolished gem, Werner is nearly the finished product. He’s one of the best young strikers in Europe and already has 23 Germany caps and 58 Bundesliga goals – despite being just 22-years-old.
Werner doesn’t just score though, he also creates. His 27 assists in 176 top flight games are an indication of someone who plays for the team, not just himself.
Daniel Sturridge looks like he might stay at Anfield beyond the summer as Liverpool are keen to give him a new contract, so it’ll be a real point of interest to see how the club handles that going forward.
