Liverpool starlet Ben Doak is attracting firm transfer interest from several Premier League clubs who are closely monitoring the availability of the 18-year-old winger.

In a summer of nonstop transfer action and rumors, Liverpool have another player with his own rumors beginning to swirl. Doak has been one of the brightest prospects for Liverpool over the last few years so it is no shock to see him drawing such interest.

While the young Scot still has a very high ceiling he can reach, the offer for his services might be too good to pass up at this juncture. Let's dive into these developments.

Premier League Clubs Interested

Leeds United, West Ham United and Wolves are all credited with an interest in signing Doak this summer if at all possible.

It's being reported that Leeds would be willing to part with £20 million to secure a Doak transfer which is a very tidy sum from a Reds perspective

While he is not their only option to strengthen on the wings, he might have the most room to grow if allowed to flourish in his role, much like he was doing last season at Middlesbrough before injuries took the reigns on his season.

While that is a strong transfer fee, nothing has ben submitted yet and Liverpool should be in no rush to push one of their best young players out the door.

Arne Slot would be more than willing to keep him at Anfield as a rotational option if a suitable offer does not arrive this summer.

Does Doak have a Liverpool role?

Before we saw Rio Ngumoha and Trey Nyoni burst onto the scene, Ben Doak was shining as the main centerpiece of the Academy and looked set to have a big role in the first team two seasons ago before an injury stopped all his momentum.

However, a strong season in the Championship in 2024/25 was followed by a good preseason this summer as our No. 50 is doing everything he can to prove he is worthy of more chances.

His directness on the ball and singular focus of carrying forward is an underrated trait and he plays with a confidence that you would expect him to get much better as a player with the correct amount of playing time.

Doak absolutely could have a role in the current setup as there have currently been more subtractions then additions to the forward ranks this summer, for a variety of reason.

If he does not get sold, I could see him playing around 20-24 times this season making some lasting impacts at various stages of the campaign. That is of course, if he stays.
