Saturday's action at Anfield was intense and breathless from the beginning as in the end, both teams saw the points shared on the day after a wild rollercoaster of a ride for everyone involved.

An Andy Robertson red card compounded the misery as the Reds were down 1-0 inside 11 minutes and the visitors looked like the better side for large portions of the second haf. However, the action really picked up in the second half and 3 combined goals and countless challenges, chances and more made it must see viewing.

It's points dropped or a point gained depending on how you look at things. So, with that in mind, let's take a look at how Liverpool rated in the draw.

Alisson Becker - 6.5/10 - It was not his best day of work, nor was it his worst day. Hard to truly fault for him for either goal, but you probably could if you dug hard enough. Nice stop from Adama late to preserve the draw.

Trent Alexander-Arnold - 6/10 - TAA did what he could to try and impact proceedings in this one. He was just missing his final ball prowess. In addition, he was caught out in defense quite often by Iwobi and Robinson.

Joe Gomez - 6.5/10 - With Robbo getting sent off so early, the defense had to shift so Gomez found himself outside more often than he would have expected. Cut out some attacks and got forward when he could.

Virgil van Dijk - 7/10 - The Captain had a fine day of work in this one. He had to keep the composure of his side in what was a chaotic mach. Even ended the match playing pseudo-center forward.

Andy Robertson - 2/10 - This was probably one of the worst outings in a Liverpool shirt for the Scotsman as he was at fault for the opening goal and his rash challenge to get a red. Not good.

Curtis Jones - 6.5/10 - He could not really influence the match in ways we have seen him do in recent outings. A lunging tackle got him booked late, but overall, a solid but unspectacular night.

Ryan Gravenberch - 7.5/10 - He had to drop into central defense with Robbo's dismissal and he still held up well in that spot. His ability to cut out passes still amazes. Got forward late when allowed to shift back to midfield.

Dominik Szoboszlai - 7/10 - This was one of the better games we have seen from Szobo in a few weeks as he elevated his game as needed. Played an effective box-to-box role in this one.

Mohamed Salah - 7/10 - His wonderful cross just after halftime setup Liverpool's opening goal and the fightback was truly on from there. Couldn't carve out a clear chance for himself, but was dangerous as ever.

Luis Diaz - 6.5/10 - A largely ineffectual game from Lucho as a center forward, but he also did not have the best service in this one. He worked hard as always though off the ball.

Cody Gakpo - 6.5/10 - It took him awhile to get into the flow of the match, but when he did he was a big threat and was able to get his goal. An imbalanced performance but made the important play when called upon.

Subs:

Darwin Nunez - 7/10 - This was good work form Darwin off the bench as he looked composed in hold-up play and his assist created the second goal for Liverpool.

Jarell Quansah - 5/10 - He did not bring the normal calm, cool and collected mindset we have become accustomed to. Looked nervous at times giving away needless corners. Also, poor deliveries into the box late-on.

Diogo Jota - 7.5/10 - Took his goal so very well with fine dribbling work and showed off his trademark elite finishing chops. His services up top have been sorely missed and he was crucial on the night.

Harvey Elliott - 6.5/10 - Looked lively as he came on late with Liverpool chasing something. Created some half-chances for others and nearly curled his own shot into the far corner.
