Following last week's announcement of Florian Wirtz's transfer from Bayer Leverkusen to Liverpool, the Reds continue to be active in the transfer market.
Here is an update on the latest happenings in terms of incomings ahead of what might prove to be another eventful week in the transfer window.
Milos Kerkez
Left-back Milos Kerkez is set to be the third summer signing for Liverpool, with his transfer on track to be confirmed possibly as soon as Tuesday.
A fee for the Bournemouth defender was agreed late last week, and reporting on Monday detailed the Hungarian's travel plans ahead of his medical and subsequent announcement.

According to The Athletic's David Ornstein, the 21-year-old and his family traveled from Serbia to the United Kingdom early Monday. He will undergo his medical on Monday, with the expectation that, if no issues emerge, the move will be formally announced this Tuesday.
The final fee for the defender is around £40 million and, though Andy Robertson's future is still up in the air, Kerkez will likely feature heavilly in Arne Slot's side next season.
Alexander Isak
This is where things get interesting. There has been considerable noise surrounding Liverpool's approach to the striker position this summer, but little clarity.
One thing is clear: Darwin Núñez time at the club is coming to an end. Napoli's interest in the Uruguayan is well-documented and seemingly ramping up. It may end up not being in Naples, but
Núñez will be playing his football elsewhere next season.
It still remains to be seen who will come in to replace him. Interestingly enough, as news of
Núñez's departure picked up, so too did rumors surrounding a potential move for Newcastle forward Alexander Isak.

From both Liverpool journalists and general non-Newcastle journalists, this transfer is still portrayed as a long shot.
Paul Joyce made sure to emphasize that Newcastle are not under any PSR pressure to sell but that, should the situation change, he believes Liverpool would make themselves part of the conversation.
Alex Crook and Ben Jacobs describe Isak as Liverpool's dream target and someone they would be willing to spend heavily to bring in. Jacobs reported that Liverpool have not given up yet bringing in the Swede and that they think there may be a small opportunity worth trying this summer.
Fabrizio Romano also stated that the striker is the club's dream target, but that a deal is complicated.

Newcastle journalist Luke Edwards reported that a bid in excess of £150 million would be required for Newcastle to even consider negotiation, with the final fee likely to approach the £200 million mark. It remains to be seen if this is accurate.
This transfer remains highly unlikely, but the influx of news last week, seemingly in conjunction with Núñez creeping towards the exit door, was curious, to say the least.
