This summer has been one of tumult so far for Liverpool Women, from the departure of Olivia Smith to a change of manager.
It is clear after last season’s disappointment, Liverpool have plenty to improve upon this off-season.
Grace Fisk has been installed as captain after Taylor Hinds’s departure. Here are the new kids on the block who will be helping to form the new Liverpool era.
Beata Olsson: C-
Beata Olsson, 24, has experience playing in Scandinavia and the US’s college system.
The striker played for the Florida Gators and Florida State Seminoles, and was prolific, especially for the latter.
She scored six goals in 19 games for Swedish side AIK in 2024, a decent haul, but is unlikely to turn many heads.

She scored nine goals in 15 matches this term at Swedish side Kristiansands, a promising campaign thus far.
Olsson is a Swedish U23 international, and will be looking forward to linking up with compatriot striker Cornelia Kapocs at Liverpool.
Signing a player with a decent haul in a weaker league is always a gamble, something which Liverpool are showing an increasing willingness to do, we will see if it pays off.
Alejandra Bernabe: C+
Well-journeyed left-back Alejandra Bernabe arrives back at Liverpool having been there on loan last season.
Spaniard Bernabe started her career with Madrid CFF and Atletico and having a series of loans in the Spanish leagues.
The 23-year-old joined Chelsea in 2023, but only ever made one senior league appearance for the Blues.

She was loaned out to Sociedad before joining the Reds on a temporary basis last season.
Bernabe’s loan lasted for the second half of the season, but was cut short by injury.
After showing signs of promise, Bernabe should be a solid player for Liverpool next season and is the pick of the bunch of Liverpool’s deadline day deals.
Emilia Szymczak: C-
Szymczak joins Liverpool on loan from Barcelona B as a nascent midfielder.
The 19-year-old still has a lot to prove at a professional level, but will have the chance to prove herself at Liverpool.
Szymczak began her career in her native Poland with Gornik Leczna, before moving to Barcelona B in 2023.

She already has 14 caps for Poland, but has yet to score a goal for the senior national team.
It remains to be seen how much she can achieve at Liverpool this season having yet to make a mark on the Barcelona senior team.
Szymczak could prove to be a worthy addition but she could also prove her inexperience, and only being on loan, Liverpool don’t have much time to develop her.
