Liverpool have had great success against the majority of English clubs in recent seasons, and Saturday's opponents are no different.

Let's take a look back at the last five meetings between Liverpool and Fulham to see if we can decipher any trends from the results.

Fulham 1-3 Liverpool - 21st April 2024 - Premier League

Liverpool came out victorious in the most recent meeting between the two sides last spring. Trent Alexander-Arnold, who has plenty of previous success against Fulham, opened the scoring in stunning style.

Fulham did draw level before the break before a stellar second-half saw Liverpool pull away. Ryan Gravenberch grabbed a rare goal for himself before Diogo Jota sealed the win late on.

Fulham 1-1 Liverpool - 24th January 2024 - League Cup Semi-Final Second Leg

A stalemate at the Cottage was enough to see Liverpool reach the League Cup final last year. The narrow first leg win did leave some room for error but Klopp's men would sneak through to Wembley.

Luis Diaz looked to have ended the contest with an early goal to double the Aggregate lead, but Fulham did ensure a nervy ended when Issa Diop equalized on the night.

Liverpool went on to face Chelsea, on the famous night that their young stars shined and earned Jurgen Klopp his final trophy for the club.

Liverpool 2-1 Fulham - 10th January 2024 - League Cup Semi-Final First Leg

The first leg win that would ultimately prove decisive in the tie. Fulham did take a shock lead the last time these two met at Anfield.

Willian's strike was eventually cancelled out by Curtis Jones before Cody Gakpo completed a three minute double salvo, to turn the tie on it's head.

Liverpool are back in League Cup action this midweek, with a trip to Southampton. A win would see them reach yet another Semi-Final in the competition.

Liverpool 4-3 Fulham - 3rd December 2023 - Premier League

A simply crazy game. Own goals, A Puskas worthy strike and a late comeback, it had it all. Trent's superb free-kick was cruely down as an own goal before former Red Harry Wilson equalised.

Alexis Mac Allister then lit up Anfield with an incredible dipping half-volley as he opened his Liverpool account in style. Kenny Tete brought Fulham level once more and it was still only halftime.

Fulham and Bobby De Cordova looked to have sucker-punched Liverpool late one but the Red's bagged two in a wild two minutes late on.

Wataru Endo also scored a scorching goal before Trent Alexander-Arnold drilled through the crowd to send Anfield crazy and secure a big three points.

Liverpool 1-0 Fulham - 3rd May 2023 - Premier League

A rather forgettable affair did still end with three points for Liverpool in this late season clash. Mo Salah was inevitably the match winner as he slotted home a first half penalty.

The Egyptian is having another incredible season and comes into this game as the holder of the Player of the Month award.
