These are the days, my friend.
The days we lived for, the days we strove for, the days we fought for. The days we longed for while suffering through periods of long Iago Aspas.
Exciting, exhilarating players wearing all red on the march to the Premier League title.
Liverpool can seal it with a point against Spurs, and here are three Premier League winners who could finish it.
Luis Diaz
Liverpool’s riveting man from Barrancas, the great dribbler.
Luis Diaz is arguably the player on the pitch who has suffered the most for this Premier League title. He endured the kidnapping of his father last season thousands of miles away, and perhaps unsurprisingly his form seemingly suffered as a result of it.
Diaz came into this season like a man with a league title to win. He has re-risen of late, sliding the ball past both Fulham and West Ham and earning a trio of assists against Everton, Newcastle United, and Southampton.

He came to this club having fended off interest by Tottenham Hotspur, and he'll leave a league title winner. I’m also certain he doesn’t regret his decision now.
This could be Diaz’s swansong as the transfer conveyor belt almost certainly gets him to Barcelona this season or next.
Virgil van Dijk
Getting his second league title under his belt, and soon to be returning for two more chances at it, Virgil van Dijk is a Bonafide Liverpool legend.
The best centre-back in the world will soon be lifting the Premier League trophy and he deserves every moment.
It is not often you deem central defenders worthy of a lot of your attention, but if there is any one in the history of football, it is Virgil van Dijk.

He scored the winner in Liverpool’s last home game against West Ham United and there is no man who wants it more than the skipper.
Make no mistake Virgil van Dijk is one of ours, a scouser, and it is so important that he put pen to paper on a new deal.
A man who looks good and sounds good, Virgil van Dijk will look great with the trophy on TV packages next season.
Trent Alexander-Arnold
Well, well, well, we all didn’t think he would be back here.
The scouser in our team has never quite felt so adrift emotionally from us, for me that changed last Sunday.
He was a worthy match-winner, a great strike on his return from injury, hit firmly into the ground, top off and ran to the fans. When Liverpool needed it most.
The above sounds reminiscent of one Steven Gerrard, but barring a huge u-turn, that will never be Trent.

Even with Real Madrid in his future, and believe me I am not happy about that either, he is still a player in Liverpool red.
Alexander-Arnold is a great one at that. He like all of us, every one, me and you, the men on the pitch, and the great people at the club.
We do this, and we did this, together.
One more of Shankly’s best.
