The hottest name in world football has again been linked to a move to Anfield. We have all the Mbappe rumors about Liverpool & other interested clubs.

Kylian Mbappe has burst on to the world stage in 2017. Since joining the Monaco first team in December he scared a phenomenal 26 goals in the second half of the season. That includes 6 goals in Monaco’s run to the Champions League semi-finals. Now a host of Europe’s biggest clubs are looking to buy the French sensation. Despite a potential record-breaking transfer fee Liverpool are still part of this conversation. As the summer goes on we are going to track the latest movements on the race to sign Kylian Mbappe.

Liverpool rumors

There are two Friday rumors of Liverpool’s interest in Kylain Mbappe. Spanish paper Marca is reporting that Liverpool made a bid of €100 million to Monaco. The article states that Reds manager Jurgen Klopp ‘wants Kylian Mbappe at Liverpool at all costs’. This is encouraging for Liverpool fans to hear. It is  clear that the club are pursuing their targets with a financial fearlessness we have not seen in years.

The second report is from British newspaper Daily Mirror who state that no bid has been formally made but that Liverpool have registered their interest with Monaco. The determination is that if Real Madrid do not bid and the player is willing come to the Premier League then Liverpool will match any offer he receives from England. Another encouraging story.

Arsenal rumors

Reports have Arsenal a little ahead of Liverpool in the race. Arsene Wenger is alleged to have been in personal contact with the player’s representatives to extol his clubs ability to develop the youngster. However the Gunners are in the same boat as us – hoping a Real offer does not materialize.

The Ligue 1 side are working the hardest. They have put in a world record £119 million bid to get the jump on other suitors. While other clubs take their time PSG are bidding big and early to put themselves in pole position.
