To celebrate captain Jordan Henderson making his 250th appearance for Liverpool against Newcastle we have ranked his 24 goals for the club.
Making 250 appearances for Liverpool is a huge achievement. It puts Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson at 78th in all time appearances for the club. Almost everyone above him is a legend. With only one League Cup to his name he still has a long way to go to be considered in the same pantheon as those heroes.

At this moment in time, fan opinion on Henderson differs greatly. There are those who believe him to be one of the most underrated players in the Premier League. A tireless worker and flawless tactical implementer. His level of technique and passing greater than all his current England midfield peers.
However there are those who see him as being an unworthy inheritor of Steven Gerrard’s armband. An average player who has no overriding strengths. Capable of doing most things well but rarely excels. The chief criticism is that he does not dominate games.
In his early years the team was built around Gerrard. Now under Jürgen Klopp the team does not revolve around the strengths of one player. And if a midfielder does get given room to ‘take over’ a game it is Philippe Coutinho. That is no slight on Henderson.
He has not been a prolific scorer for the club, and often hasn’t been given that license to go forward. Yet, to date, he has scored 24 goals for the club including some real crackers. To celebrate his latest milestone we have ranked all of those goals.
