Liverpool are on the up, Arsenal are on the down

More from Rush The Kop

One team has just splashed the cash to improve an area of the side that lets them down. One team are playing electrifying football. One team are on the up. That team is Liverpool.

Arsenal seem stuck in their languid ways, taking one step forward and two steps back. Why would you want to be apart of that atmosphere?

They may have drawn with Chelsea, but that’s no indication of progress and if anything it opens the door for more Reds progression.

Manager Jurgen Klopp has got his side playing like he really wants them to, and it’s beginning to show. Arsene Wenger seems to have run out of ideas and it’s beginning to show.

A decent cup run (if the Reds beat Everton in the League Cup) and a continuation of their strong league form should be enough to prove this to Lemar.
