Liverpool took three vital points tonight in a 3-0 victory against Huddersfield in the Premier League. Here are our Liverpool player ratings.

The Liverpool fanbase has been sulking and chippy around the end of the transfer window and two bad results. This game put that all to one side. Liverpool ran out to a 3-0 win in a good old-fashioned beating of Huddersfield.

More from Rush The Kop

Manager Jurgen Klopp made six changes from the side that crashed out of the FA Cup on Saturday. Loris Karius resumed his spot as number one goalkeeper. The back four got a big shuffle with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Alberto Moreno making way for Joe Gomez and Andrew Robertson.

Virgil van Dijk was surprisingly moved to the bench with Spurs in mind at the weekend. Dejan Lovren took his place. Two changes in midfield saw captain Jordan Henderson and vice captain James Milner start. Gini Wijnaldum and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain were the ones to head to the bench.

Emre Can got things going with a long-range hit before Roberto Firmino slid in a second just before the half time whistle. A comfortable second half was given a nice finish with Billing bundling over Can for a penalty. Salah tucked that away for his 26th goal of the season and a good win.

Here are our Liverpool player ratings v Huddersfield Town:

LORIS KARIUS. 7. A SAVE! An actual put-your-hands-together-and-give-a-clap save.It was nice to see an LFC keeper do something that requires skill to help the team out. The expected aerial barrage never came. Not sure he knew much about Lowe’s freekick which went just wide.. Goalkeeper. Liverpool
