Liverpool are hosting Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday in a huge Premier League clash. Here are 5 reasons that Liverpool will defeat Spurs this weekend.

There is not a single Liverpool fan I know or have seen online who thinks the club got it right in the transfer window. Needed more incomings. Or one less significant outgoing. And we should have sold the peripheral players and not loaned them. But the window is shut and there is nothing to be done by talking it over.

Now there is just the games. And what a game we have first up. Liverpool have a huge Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield on Sunday.  Liverpool climbed up to third on goal difference after Chelsea lost to Bournemouth. Spurs now sit in fifth only two points behind us and the Blues.

They pulled off an excellent win at Wembley last night against Manchester United. Combine that momentum with the good memories they will have from when we faced them in October and they will be confident and ready for this game.

That 4-1 defeat in North London was the lowest point of our season to date. A litany of individual errors handed the game to Spurs. They never had to leave second gear, such was the generosity of Dejan Lovren and Simon Mignolet that afternoon.

However the two sides have flipped in the table since then. Liverpool have only lost one game of the 20 since we met. The Reds also have a marquee win against the ‘unbeatable’ Manchester City. If we can beat City, we sure as heck can beat Spurs. Here are five reasons why Liverpool will be victorious against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday evening.
