Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino has scored 20 goals in all competitions this season.
Some legend has trawled through game footage and compiled a video of all Firmino’s strikes during the 2017/2018 campaign.
Starting with a penalty against Watford at the very beginning of the season and culminating with his cool side-footed finish in the win against Southampton, the near-five minute montage has it all.
For a smaller forward, the Brazilian has scored some good headed goals and his composure in front of the net has improved dramatically since he signed from Hoffenheim.

His steady progression has continued into this campaign and now has 12 in the league from 26 appearances as well as six in the Champions League, one in Champions League Qualifcation and one in the FA Cup. That takes his tally to 20 from 36 games.
Liverpool have taken some stick for not having a ‘proper’ forward in the team, but Firmino has proven that A: he is and B: who needs one anyway when you have two players smashing goals in left, right and center.
Jurgen Klopp has been able to transform the attacker into someone with promise to a player who is surely an out-and-out striker. But not only that, Firmino is a creator and he has 11 assists his season.
The Reds take on Porto on Wednesday in the Champions League before having to take on West Ham at home 10 days after that.
With Danny Ings and Dominic Solanke as back-up forwards, there isn’t that much quality available should Klopp lose his first choice man.

But hopefully with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane in the side, the attacking unit could carry Ings or Solanke along for the ride.
