It only took Salah 12 games to make double figures in the Premier League and the 25-year-old hasn’t looked back. As things stand, he has 29 goals in just 31 games – an absolutely breathtaking haul.
To add to that, the ex-Chelsea man has scored eight times in 10 Champions League fixtures, once in European qualification and once in the League Cup – which brings his haul to 39 goals in 44 games.
In comparison to any other period of his career, it’s astonishing. The system manager Jurgen Klopp is using clearly suits Salah down to the ground. In 83 appearances for Roma, the Egyptian scored 34 times. He only scored 20 goals during his entire Basel career.
Add to that his 13 assists and you have a world-class forward entering the prime years of his career. Do not doubt that huge clubs all over the globe are watching him. Real Madrid, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain would be stupid not to be thinking about a bid.
