Liverpool fans will be happy to here that one star attacker is returning from injury faster than expected. Mohamed Salah will feature for Egypt this week.
The end of the 2017/18 was marked by injury for Liverpool Football Club. Manager Jurgen Klopp was missing a handful of his squad for the last few months, hindering the team’s ability to reach its ultimate goal in the Champions League final.
Despite that Liverpool had kept their devastating front three of Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah reasonably healthy. That was until Sergio Ramos got a handle on things.

The Real Madrid entangled his arm with Salah’s before rolling over it with all his weight. The Egyptian went off injured and Liverpool’s hopes of European glory took a big hit.
That injury looked serious and the initial prognosis was that he would miss six weeks of action; effectively ruling him out of the World Cup.
However it now appears that Salah will return to action a mere three weeks after the Champions League disappointment. There was confirmation from Egypt national team boss Hector Cuper that the star forward would start against Uruguay in tomorrow’s first group match in the FIFA 2018 World Cup.
There is always two conflicting emotions for Liverpool fans when there are international games. It is natural to want to see the club’s stars succeed on the world stage. For Salah, a World Cup of the same level and impact as his season for Liverpool will only increase the appeal of Liverpool for new fans and attracting new recruits.
However there is also the desire to wrap up every Reds in cottonwool; to have none of them in any situation where they won’t be fit for Liverpool.
