Sponsored by Ramos! Fans react to coach’s Salah claim
Fans have reacted to Russia coach Stanislav Cherchesov’s claims that he knows how to stop Liverpool star Mohamed Salah.
After missing out on Egypt’s first game against Uruguay, Salah is fit to face the host nation after recovering from an injury inflicted on him by Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos in the Champions League final.
SuperSport have reported that Cherschesov sounds confident that his side will be able to stop the star from hitting the back of the net.
After scoring 44 goals in all competitions last season, Salah was supposed to go into the global competition as one of the most feared players in the world.

“We know how to play against him,” the website reported that the coach said. “We are ready to stop Salah and we will.”
Igor Akinfeev, on the other hand, couldn’t be bothered about the player. “Would I prefer to see Salah play or not? I do not even know how to respond,” he said. “I would prefer to see my team win.”
The Pharoahs need to take three points from the game as they lost that first one in the 89th minute. Defender Jose Gimenez headed home following a free-kick to break north African hearts and make this upcoming game even more important.
