Liverpool look like they’ll allow Brazilian Allan to move to Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt.
According to reports from Goal.com journalist Ronan Murphy, the player will be allowed to train with the side in order for them to take a look at his skills.
The 21-year-old is unlikely to ever feature for the Reds, said Murphy, because of constant work permit issues. Since signing for Liverpool in 2015, Allan has made four loan moves and it doesn’t appear as if he has a future on Merseyside.

Apollon Limassol was his most recent temporary destination, for whom the Porto Alegre native featured just 15 times.

If Frankfurt like what they see, the deal will be a permanent one. This will allow manager Jurgen Klopp to get rid of a player who probably won’t challenge the first team even if he could escape the bureaucratic mess that he’s in.
The fact that three of his four moves have been to sides in the lower European leagues, such as Finland, Cyprus and Belgium, indicate that Allan wouldn’t be able to handle the quality of the English top flight.
To be fair to the Anfield scouting department, the lad was signed for less than £1 million and so they knew that this wasn’t going to be a risky invest. If they let him go now there is still time for Allan to improve and develop as a player, so they haven’t ruined his career either.
This one just looks like a long-bet that hasn’t turned out the right way. It’d be better to cut ties now – this way both parties can look ahead with no regrets.
