Liverpool are looking to beat Southampton at Anfield on Saturday but Jurgen Klopp must make four changes to his lineup to get the victory.

Undefeated. Six games into the season and the Reds are yet to miss a step. Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has steered his side to maximum points in the Premier League and a crucial European victory against PSG in the Champions League.

No-one wants this to stop. Winning is infectious. They players and the fans begin to expect it – demand it – and that is exactly what Klopp wants. As the fixtures come two-a-week for the rest of the season the manager will have to rotate to keep everyone fresh and keep the wins coming.

The last four Liverpool fixtures have been decided by just one goal. Only the opener to West Ham and the matchup against Crystal Palace have been comfortable. These games are decided by fine lines. The right team sheet is crucial.

Klopp’s lineup against PSG in midweek caused a minor panic in some quarters of the Liverpool fanbase. There are those who are very sensitive to changes and shifting Naby Keita to the bench and replacing him with captain Jordan Henderson was too much for those with fragile faith in the manager.

They needn’t have worried. Henderson was excellent alongside the incredible James Milner and Gini Wijnaldum as the Liverpool midfield dominated the game and shut down the service to the PSG attacking trio.

I think there are four changes to Tuesday’s starting XI that Klopp should make to keep things fresh and game plan for the visit of the Saints.
