Liverpool will be heading to Chelsea on Saturday in the Premier League to avenge the midweek defeat. Here are five reasons the Reds destroy Chelsea.

For Liverpool, this is the biggest Premier League of the season so far. The trip to Chelsea is the latest test for Jurgen Klopp’s men who have already navigated a visit to Tottenham Hotspur and tricky trips to Leicester and Crystal Palace.

Both teams are undefeated in the league. The Reds are flawless with six wins out of six while Maurizio Sarri’s side picked up a surprising draw at West Ham last weekend. While Liverpool have the upper hand in the league the Carabao Cup match in midweek has given Chelsea the impetus.

Klopp gave Fabinho his first start and put together a back five consisting of former first team members; Dejan Lovren, Joel Matip, Alberto Moreno, Nathaniel Clyne & Simon Mignolet.

That quintet gave the kind of performance that led to them being replaced; little errors leading to goals for the opposition. The Reds did well further up the pitch with Xherdan Shaqiri continuing to impress. Daniel Sturridge bagged another goal and Naby Keita was back in the side.

There will be huge changes in both team’s lineups heading into this game. With the goalkeeper and first team back four returning, alongside Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino, the Reds should revert to winning ways.

There is plenty of evidence to suggest that Liverpool won’t just eke out a result but could put Chelsea to the sword and pull off a big victory at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
