A Salah hangover and was Henderson very poor?
Is Mohamed Salah suffering from a hangover and was Jordan Henderson very poor as Liverpool could only draw with Chelsea in the Premier League?
Eden Hazard opened the scoring for the home side, before Daniel Sturridge leveled things up three minutes after replacing James Milner.
But Salah was guilty of missing chances and hasn’t looked his normal self this campaign, while Henderson played in place of Naby Keita and failed to impress. At least, that’s what the professional journalists covering the game thought.
The Daily Mail thought that the Egyptian could be suffering from the effects of his efforts last season and in the World Cup and gave Salah a match rating of just 5/10, which talkSPORT and the Mirror agreed with.

Hendo will have to up his levels if he is going to feature against Manchester City and Napoli. Naby Keita will be extremely keen to be brought back into the side for those games, and his performance was criticized by talkSPORT – who supplied a 3/10 and thought the game ‘passed him by.’
However the Mirror had a different option of Henderson, rated the England international’s performance as a 6/10 and reckoned he was brave in the tackle and ‘put on a strong display’.
While they didn’t hate Hendo as much as talkSPORT, the Daily Mail didn’t love him either and offered up a 5.5/10 and commented that his range of passing looked like it frustrated Jurgen Klopp on the sidelines.
Certainly it wasn’t the best performance Liverpool have put on in the Premier League, but it does keep them unbeaten and means that the team have nearly got through their nightmare run of fixtures with some excellent results under their belt.
A defining clash comes up against City, and three points against the Citizens will lay down a massive marker for the rest of the campaign.
