Liverpool will face Napoli in a tough Champions League fixture but we have four reasons why the Reds will spank the Italians and win.

Jurgen Klopp and his mighty Reds are looking to get their first European away win of the season as they make the trip to Napoli in the group stage of the Champions League.

It is a strange scenario where a dropping two points in the Premier League at the weekend has not dampened any buzz around this Liverpool side. The late equalizer from Daniel Sturridge against Chelsea allowed the Redmen to stay joint top of the league with Man City.

Another late goal – this time a winner against PSG – from Roberto Firmino gave Liverpool a winning start to the Champions League campaign. Both those goals feel like evidence of the determination and seriousness of Klopp’s side.

There is the suspicion that in previous years those games would have been lost or drawn. Even last year Liverpool drew 2-2 with Sevilla at home in the corresponding fixture. This time they managed to get the three points.

There was much debate about the strength of side Klopp should have put out for the Carabao Cup against Chelsea. Many thought he should have named a stronger side and pressed for his first silverware at the club.

Ultimately is was almost a B-side that got knocked out. That leaves Europe as the only cup competition for the Reds until January. We could well see the manager rotating a little less and throwing out his best side in Italy, even with the game against Man City at the weekend.

Despite that distraction there is plenty to believe that Liverpool will dominate Napoli tomorrow night and bring home another famous European victory.
