Liverpool are heading to face Huddersfield Town this weekend in the Premier League. Here are five reasons why the Reds should be wary of this fixture.

After the run of games Liverpool have had in September and October, the next run of fixtures can look very appealing. These were incredibly tough games against Tottenham Hotspur, PSG, Napoli, Man City plus Chelsea twice. The next run of Huddersfield Town, Red Star Belgrade and Cardiff City looks to be a breeze in comparison.

However the Reds cannot ease up or coast in the race for the Premier League. They are in a three-way tie for first place with Chelsea and Man City. It is crucial that Jurgen Klopp and his men get maximum points from these Premier League fixtures over the next two weekends.

The Reds have only managed one goal in the last three competitive matches. Granted, they were against top defenses, but the opposition didn’t matter last year as very few sides could keep the Reds from scoring.

The current barren spell in front of goal is a strange feeling after 12+ months of scoring for fun. The trouble was always keeping the opposition out. That has turned 180 degrees this time around.
