Premier League captain favors Liverpool to win the title
By Josh Ricker
Coming hot off a 4-0 win in the Champion’s League against Red Star Belgrade, Liverpool return to the Premier League this weekend to face Cardiff.
According to Sky Sports, Cardiff City captain Sean Morrison actually thinks the Reds will win the league this season.
"“I would love Liverpool to win it just because for them to get a Premier League would be fantastic for the club and for the city,” he said. “It’s such a famous club and there’s so much history behind it, but it’s going to take a lot to stop Man City”"
It is a good sight to see when other leaders are cheering for Liverpool over City. It’s unique for a player, especially a captain to say that before playing the opponent, but it seems as if Jurgen Klopp’s team have gained a level of top respect in the league over the past couple years.
It will be tough for Cardiff to put up a fight against Liverpool, but nevertheless we must not overlook them as a club and fan base.

The Bluebirds have managed to get five points off nine games, compared to our 23. The game will also be played at Anfield, a nightmare for any opponent, especially after a big European night. The crowd will be fired up and ready to see another masterclass put on by the home side.
It’s tough to say the lineup Klopp will go with, given that he has switched the team up significantly in the Champion’s League by adding Fabinho and Xherdan Shaqiri into the mix.
It’s likely that Morrison will see Roberto Firmino in front of him for the majority of the game, which will be a tough go for the English central defender.
After the Cardiff match, Liverpool play Arsenal, Red Star again, Fulham and Watford. A run of games that the Reds can most definitely win, and help Morrison’s predictions of Liverpool winning the title.
Down the stretch, these easier games in the middle of the schedule are very important and can lead to any team running away with the competition.
No matter who we are playing, we need to focus on winning every game if we want to keep up pace with Manchester City.
