Regardless this is some welcome news for Reds who are eager to see a player who was growing quickly into his role at Anfield. After struggling to make the first team in the early part of the season he became more and more influential.
Eventually he became a starter in some of Liverpool’s biggest games last season; scoring sensational goals against Manchester City in both the Premier League and the Champions League.
Liverpool take on Oxlade-Chamberlain’s former club Arsenal this weekend and will be hoping to do the injured midfielder proud and continue the unbeaten start to the league season.
