Former Liverpool players Philippe Coutinho, Raheem Sterling and Luis Suarez have been named in the Goal 50.
The list of the best 50 players in the world for 2017/2018 is out now and includes four current Reds as well as those three former Anfield icons.
None of them appear in the top 10 or above Egyptian King Mohamed Salah. Coutinho is the highest place of the trio at 21st, who split his campaign between Liverpool and Barcelona.
After scoring 12 goals in all competitions under Jurgen Klopp, the Brazilian moved to Barca for a whopping £105 million in January and was responsible for 10 goals in his six months in Spain.

With 201 appearances, 54 goals and 45 assists for the Reds, it can be safely claimed that Coutinho was made the player he is at Merseyside.
Suarez came in at 38th in the world as he hit 31 goals in all competitions for Barcelona. The Uruguayan broke Reds’ hearts when he moved to Catalonia in 2014 for £73.55 million.
After 82 goals and 47 assists for Liverpool in just 133 games, it was almost inevitable that Barca would come calling. After snagging their man, Suarez has gone from strength to strength – hitting the back of the net 161 times and producing another 88 goals in 215 appearances.
Nevertheless, the forward is appearing below every single Reds player who was named in the Goal 50 this year and that is something to savour.
Snake Sterling finished up in 41st place, but even the most die hard Liverpool fans will have to admit that he had an excellent 2017/2018 under Pep Guardiola.

The Melwood product scored 21 goals across the campaign and has started the current season in a similar fashion.
After breaking through into the first team under Brendan Rodgers, Sterling moved to Manchester City for £57.33 million in the summer of 2015. He only scored 23 times in 129 games for the Reds, with 25 assists.
