Liverpool star Roberto Firmino has done his club and country teammate Fabinho like a kipper in Brazil training.

Firmino and the defensive midfielder were preparing to take on Argentina when publication Esporte Interativo grabbed the video below.

And it shows Bobby casually strolling alongside Fabinho before slotting a nutmeg through his unsuspecting legs. The look on the former AS Monaco man’s face after tells it all – he’s shattered, he knows he’s been done.

Brazil beat Argentina 1-0 at the King Abdullah Sports City in Saudi Arabia thanks to a João Miranda goal in the 93rd minute. Firmino started and played the full game, while Fabinho was substituted on with 53 minutes gone.

If the midfielder remains on the edge of the Liverpool squad, he’s a vital member of his country and has been a regular for them this season.

By contrast, Firmino has sometimes struggled for game time and was mysteriously left out the side for the World Cup – something Brazil boss Tite has since said was a mistake.

Jurgen Klopp still looks like he’s figuring out how to play Fabinho in his best side, and the converted right-back appears to be more comfortable operating in a 4-2-3-1 formation.

But Firmino is not without his struggles, and the forward has been down on his contributions in comparison to last season. With only two goals and two assists in 12 Premier League outings, the forward is on course to fall below his 15 and seven effort during 2017/2018.

But Klopp has also played the star in a more withdrawn role to enable Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Xherdan Shaqiri to play at the same time – which may indicate why the Brazilian isn’t finding the back of the net as often as he’d like.
