Liverpool vs Watford: Mohamed Salah’s record against the Hornets will terrify them
Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has an excellent record against Watford and that should terrify them.
Not only is Salah reaching his best levels, but he also loves playing the Hornets and has torn them apart for the Reds.
In just two games, the Egyptian King has scored five times and provided one assist. You don’t need me to do the maths but I will anyway: he’s provided an average of three goals per game. Brutal.
Maybe this wouldn’t have inspired any fear earlier in the campaign when Salah looked a bit down on confidence and unsure of himself, but it should now.

With seven goals and two assists in his last 10 outings for club and country, you can bet your bottom dollar that the forward everyone feared last season is back up and running.
The Reds have looked a little flat recently and it’s up to manager Jurgen Klopp to find a way to deal with that. Starting Xherdan Shaqiri could be the answer, but that means Roberto Firmino dropping into a more withdrawn role and that doesn’t seem to get the best from him.
And so there may need to be a creative solution to the problem. Shaqiri could play in midfield, but the Swiss international is defensively unsure of his role there and that would play on Jurgen Klopp’s mind.
Watford have had a decent season so far and are hard to score against – but with Salah on the pitch it should ease any doubts fans have in regards to that. He’ll be keen to add to that impressive tally on Saturday, and there is no reason why the attacker shouldn’t.
It won’t be an easy game though as the Hornets have won six of their 12 league fixtures so far and have only lost once in their past four games.
