Liverpool vs Watford: Two make Garth Crooks’ team of the week
Two Liverpool players have made BBC pundit Garth Crooks’ team of the week as the Reds won 3-0 at Vicarage Road.
Despite the fact that this round of Premier League fixtures isn’t over, Crooks has selected his best XI – of which Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson feature.
The BBC man opted to pick the two full-backs as part of a three man defence, along with former Liverpool man Mamadou Sakho.
Jurgen Klopp led his men to another win as the Reds continue to keep up with Manchester City in the race for the league title.

Tottenham Hotspur beat Chelsea to end their flawless start to the campaign, and Crooks rewarded them by putting two Spurs lads in the side.
Fulham and former Newcastle United man Aleksandar Mitrovic was also picked. Mitrovic was sold by Kop legend Rafa Benitez, and has responded well to be the Cottegers leading goalscorer this campaign.
Liverpool have got some big games coming up as they travel to Paris to take on PSG in a clutch Champions League game on Wednesday, before facing Everton in a massive Merseyside derby.
Klopp will need to engineer some clever rotations in order to put out two strong but rested sides in both games. He has got options in forward and midfield positions, but outside the German’s regular back four there is very little strength in depth.
Alberto Moreno and Nathaniel Clyne have hardly played this season, and expecting one of them to come in from the cold and play well would be a big ask.
Similarly Joel Matip and Dejan Lovren haven’t had a lot of football, although Lovren is looking more comfortable this season and looked composed against Watford.
Seeing Robertson and Alexander-Arnold playing well is a great positive for Liverpool. Both are fairly young, and have improving to do. Bring it on.
