Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk is clearly one of the best in the world proven by the fact he is currently perfect in one statistical category.
He is a legend in the making. A towering defender and a monster of a man, Virgil van Dijk is fast on the way to being a Kop hero as the rock upon which this current Liverpool side is built.
Everyone who has seen him play for the Reds since his move from Southampton in January can’t help but be impressed with his aerial ability, his passing range and his command of the back four.

He has proven himself to the keen eye but also in the analytics. He has been tremendous in a handful of statistical categories but there is one where he has been flawless.
As @el_mansfield has pointed out on Twitter, the Dutchman has won 16 out of 16 tackles this season.
That means in the 1500 minutes of football so far in the Premier League this season he has played not a single player has dribbled past him. Not Christian Eriksen, Eden Hazard or Raheem Sterling. No-one.
Everton are going to try on Sunday at Anfield but they are going to fail too. Van Dijk has been perfect making tackles and keeping out opposing attackers. You may have felt he was perfect before, but now you know for sure!
This week at Vicarage Road was the first proper outing of the new Van Dijk song from the traveling Kop. You could hear it loud and clear on the TV feeds and is sure to be heard from the terraces week after week.
Even the fiercest rivals and Liverpool haters are now grudgingly accepting that Virgil van Dijk is an incredible player – perhaps the best defender in the world – and worth every penny of the £75 million fee.
