Obsessed Man Utd fans cut off their nose to spite their face
Liverpool obsessed Manchester United fans are busy cutting off their nose to spite their face on Twitter.
After the Reds beat Bournemouth and Manchester City lost to Chelsea, bitter Utd lads took to social media to talk about how they’d rather the club like ‘love’ does badly than see Liverpool do well.
The prospect of the Scousers doing well has whipped up a frenzy all over the land as they extended their unbeaten start to 16.
13 wins and three draws have taken Jurgen Klopp’s men up to 42 points, one ahead of the oil rich juggernaut of Manchester City and 16 above the Red Devils.

And that’s something that has got Jose Mourinho’s followers worked up in a frenzy that a rival way do well. Not at their expense, just do well.
In between the normal stuff about wanting the Reds to lose at home and in Europe, there is more shocking stuff such as the desire to see Utd relegated as long as Liverpool didn’t get their hands on silverware.
Being down in sixth may feel like a relegation, and it’s definitely further down the ladder than we’ve seen them in the modern era. And really, without Mourinho keeping himself in the headlines would they even be relevant any more?
To see opposition fans so worried is a massive indication of how the club has progressed under Jurgen Klopp. A Champions League final and a run on the title in the past two seasons proves that Klopp is doing excellent work at Anfield, and the best is yet to come.
The steady progression of players under the German, a solid scouting network and the money to find key players and bring them to the club all point towards an excellent future and one that should lead to sustained success.
And no doubt, sustained bitterness towards Liverpool.
