Liverpool fans want Dominic Solanke sent to Crystal Palace as a thank you for beating Manchester City.

It’s become pretty clear that Solanke will leave the club on loan and Palace are one of the sides who are interested in signing the striker.

Times journalist Paul Joyce has reported that Roy Hodgson’s side have thrown their hat into the ring and a decision will be made over the next few days.

Interest in the Reds’ youngster is high as Brighton, Fulham and Huddersfield also want to sign Solanke. The Seagulls are interested in a permanent deal, with the other two relegation battlers are content with a temporary one.

The former Chelsea man hasn’t played one minute of senior football this season and is in danger of watching his promising career go down the drain. Despite such a lack of action, Solanke picked up one England cap in the process.

He’s never been on loan in the Premier League. While the youngster was at Chelsea, the Blues farmed him out to Vitesse in the Dutch Eredivisie and Solanke did well.

But after joining Liverpool he’s found opportunities really limited, especially with the failure of Divock Origi to leave Anfield and the reemergence of Daniel Sturridge.

After Sturridge flopped at West Brom, Jurgen Klopp probably hadn’t planned on the England international fighting so hard for his place.

With the transfer window nearly open, it seems like Liverpool are going to ramp up operations and strengthen the squad. Christian Pulisic has been heavily linked with the club for ages and now reports have indicated that the Reds are in pole position for his signature.

Meanwhile, Adrien Rabiot has been frozen out of the PSG squad due to his refusal to agree new terms and that could reignite Jurgen Klopp’s interest in the French midfielder.
