Liverpool travel to the Etihad to face Manchester City in a top of the Premier League clash on Thursday. Here are five reasons the Reds will dominate Man City.

Here we go. On paper this is the biggest game for Liverpool in the Premier League season and it comes right at the start of 2019.  Manchester City will host the Reds at the Etihad on Thursday evening in a huge clash for the title race.

Usually an away game against a title rival would wring out the nerves and be an expected loss – any positive result would be a bonus. However there are good reasons to believe that Liverpool won’t just avoid defeat, they will dominate Man City.

This is the fifth time the two sides have played in less than a year and so there is plenty of recent evidence to be confident.

Here are the five reasons that Liverpool will dominate Man City on Thursday night in the Premier League.
