Liverpool have had a boost ahead of their Premier League matchup with Leicester as new breaks the Foxes could be missing a key defender next week through injury.
While Liverpool fans are looking to the injury reports from Melwood for some good news, they have received a boost from Leicester City. It appears Harry Maguire has not recovered from the injury he suffered against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The England international is the leader of the Foxes’ back line and his absence can only help a Liverpool attack looking to propel Jurgen Klopp’s side to a Premier League title.

The Reds play on Wednesday while their nearest challengers Manchester City play on Tuesday. By the time the game kicks off at Anfield the gap at the top of the table could be just a single point.
This will be the first time in a while Liverpool have had to play after Man City during the Premier League game week. It will be fascinating to see how they respond to the pressure City are likely to apply unless Rafa Benitez can help out his former side with Newcastle grabbing some points from them.
As Klopp’s men return from their mid-season break to Dubai they revealed a positive injury update. Midfielder Fabinho should be available for the Leicester game after being withdrawn late on against Crystal Palace last week.
He maybe called on to play right back against the Foxes with Trent Alexander-Arnold not yet back to fitness and Joe Gomez expected to miss the game. Makeshift right back James Milner was sent off at the weekend and will miss the next game through suspension.
Fabinho played right back at Monaco for much of the 2016/17 Ligue 1 season that saw him rise to prominence across Europe. While the Reds will miss his presence in midfield it will be a more appealing option for the manager than throwing in Rafa Camacho for his first Premier League start.
