All aboard the Jamie Carragher and Luis Garcia banter bus as the Liverpool legends enjoyed some craic on Twitter.
The occasion? Carragher’s birthday. The subject? Free tickets to the Reds‘ fixture against Bayern Munich in the last 16 of the Champions League.
After being tweeted a happy birthday message by the Liverpool twitter account, Carra responded that he’d prefer four free tickets to the European clash instead.
Garcia saw this and was more then happy to jump on the thread to ask for his allocation – with only a brief mention of Carragher’s special day.
Make it 6 please !! Btw Happy Birthday mate 🥳

Despite only spending three seasons at Anfield, the Spaniard is well loved on Merseyside and can be found turning out for the Liverpool FC Legends side.
His 121 appearances in all competitions were often characterized by an incredibly frustrating on-off form. Brilliant one week, frustrating the next as simple passes were waylaid. But when Garcia turned it on, he was a world beater.

30 goals from his time with the Reds is an excellent return for a midfielder, and the Spanish international reached double figures in his first two seasons with Liverpool.
Carragher needs no introduction on Liverpool. The figures say it all. A rare one-club legend, the defender made an incredible 727 appearances for the Reds.
He played more than 20 games in every season apart from his first, 1996-1997, and managed just five goals.
If Trent Alexander-Arnold is the new local hero in defense, he couldn’t have a better role model to study than Carra. The legend gave it all in every single game he played for Liverpool and is well loved across the club.
You’d be hard pressed to find a supporter who doesn’t hold the man in high esteem following his years with the club.
Liverpool take on Bayern on the 19th of February, before travelling to Munich for the reverse leg on the 13th of March.
