There was other news on the injury front with the boss informing the media both Gini Wijnaldum and Fabinho also trained yesterday meaning both will be in contention for the visit of Leicester.
The bad news is that one player will certainly miss the Premier League clash with the Foxes. Trent Alexander-Arnold has not recovered from his injury in time to train. That means he will miss a second game after being injured in the warm up of the 1-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion.
Klopp will have a big decision to make about who starts at right back. With Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez out and James Milner – who deputized against Crystal Palace – suspended, the manager will have to get creative.
The only first team regular who has played that role before is Fabinho at Monaco but he has yet to feature at full back for the Reds.
Klopp says Virgil van Dijk has trained...and so should be ready to play against Leicester. Wijnaldum trained, Fabinho will train today, but Trent AA is not quite ready to play and will miss the game #LFC

Much will depend on the Brazilian’s true level of fitness. The boss could instead turn to Rafa Camacho who started at right back in the FA Cup against Wolves and came on late against Palace and won some praise from Klopp.
It’s a big call to make in the title race, especially as Man City are likely to only be one point behind the league leaders after their game against Newcastle later today.
