Liverpool are closing in on a loan deal to send Ben Woodburn to Hull City for the rest of the 2018/19 season according to reports.
There does not promise to be much action for Liverpool Football Club in the last few days of the transfer window but one player is gearing to move out. The Reds are looking to send Ben Woodburn out on loan to Hull City for the remainder of the season according to today’s reports.
The Welsh international has been on loan at Sheffield United. He made only two starts for The Blades and had no goals or assists in eight total appearances. An injury cut the loan spell short and he returned to Melwood just before Christmas.

It was a hugely disappointing spell for the 19-year-old and for manager Jurgen Klopp who had high hopes for Woodburn’s development this season.
The attacking midfielder began to make a name for himself early last season with his performances for the Liverpool Under-23’s earning him his first international cap.
He scored a cracking goal on his debut for Wales and the excitement grew about his future at Anfield and his potential.
He failed to make an impact in the second half of last season and this year’s underwhelming loan spell has meant he has been truly eclipsed by countryman Harry Wilson.
Wilson is having a storming season on loan with Derby County in the Championship after a quality loan spell in the second half of last season at Hull City.
Liverpool will be hoping that lightening will strike twice with Woodburn hoping to prove his potential with the Tigers with a half season loan.
Even with Dominic Solanke out the door to Bournemouth on a £19 million transfer it is unlikely Woodburn could get any first team minutes with the boss trusting Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi to back-up Roberto Firmino.
