Liverpool play West Ham in the Premier League on Monday night and it’s time to continue the Hammer’s perpetual Reds nightmare.

Every time this fixture comes around must be horrible for fans of the London side as Jurgen Klopp just knows how to destroy them.

The first game of the 2018/2019 season ended with West Ham receiving a 4-0 mauling. Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane (twice) and Daniel Sturridge spread smiles across Liverpool faces and launched the campaign in the best possible way.

Before that? Emre Can, Salah, Roberto Firmino and Mane hit the back of the net as the Reds won 4-1. That game was in February as well, and Klopp will be wishing for another complete performance for the lads.

Before that? Well, the story is kinda similar actually. Salah hit a double, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scored and Joel Matip even grabbed one. The defence that day consisted of Alberto Moreno, Ragnar Klavan, Matip and Joe Gomez playing at right-back.

Before that? If you know, you know. If not, it was another 4-0 as Philippe Coutinho grabbed a brace either side of Sturridge and Divock Origi goals. Nathaniel Clyne started the game with Adam Lallana, Gini Wijnaldum helped himself to two assists while Ben Woodburn and Marko Grujic featured as substitutes.

So that makes four consecutive wins while scoring four times and conceding just twice. Liverpool are currently up 16-2, and if that doesn’t bring sleepless nights to West Ham’s defence, nothing will.

They’ve conceded 37 this season and have just shipped seven in two games, including four in the FA Cup against AFC Wimbledon. Wolves just put three past Manuel Pellegrini’s defence, which has 34-year-old Pablo Zabaleta featuring 18 times at right-back.

Liverpool are pushing hard to win the league this season, they’ve got quality players in every position and important lads coming back from injury. West Ham have a disruptive star forward and a leaky defence.
