Liverpool are being linked to £99 million Argentinian striker Paulo Dybala according to transfer reports in the Liverpool Echo today.

Liverpool have been connected to a transfer deal involving Juventus forward Paulo Dybala say reports today by the Liverpool Echo.

While you maybe excited about the prospect of adding a £99 million rated forward to the squad, there is one considerable downside; it is being included in a potential move for Mohamed Salah.

Stories emerged last week that Juventus are planning a £200 million move for Salah this summer. The Old Lady are hoping to bring back the Egyptian superstar back to Serie A.

There is nothing on Liverpool’s end to suggest that they have any interest in selling their biggest star – even for an astronomical fee. However the club have made similar stances before – most notably with Luis Suarez and Philippe Coutinho – only to see the players leave anyway.

Crucially, Salah is showing no interest in leaving and is enjoying his time at Liverpool and the progress of the current squad under manager Jurgen Klopp.

Dybala has been rated as one of the top young forwards in the world; last season he scored 22 goals in Serie A. However he has struggled to have the same impact this year after the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo in Turin.

The Italian giants are hoping to cash in on him before his star begins fall and transfer price drops accordingly. They know Liverpool have no desire to sell and hope Dybala’s inclusion would soften the blow of losing their star striker.

Klopp will be hoping to keep Salah – who only recently signed a new deal at Anfield – and adding another forward to the mix. Timo Werner is the hottest name being linked for this summer.
