Liverpool are sizing up a transfer for £51 million rated Real Madrid midfielder Isco according to the latest reports in the press.
Liverpool Football Club are being linked to a summer move for out-of-favor Real Madrid playmaker Isco according to this report in Tuttosport. The transfer round-up article claims the Reds will vie with Manchester United for his signature when the transfer window opens.
Jurgen Klopp’s side has failed to score in three of the last four games and many are noting the side needs more creativity from midfield to unlock well prepared defenses and give more opportunities to the front three.

Isco is a classy midfielder whose passing and movement would be a huge complement to the current crop of midfielders at Anfield.
The Reds have been linked to Isco in the past but this time the situation is slightly more believable. Previously he was a central figure as Real Madrid were winning Champions League titles and challenging for La Liga while Liverpool were struggling to make the top four.
The possibility of a player of Isco’s class swapping the Bernabeu for Anfield seemed remote. And that is before considering the £90 million transfer fees being quoted.
However Real are not the force they were and are likely to come third in La Liga; twelve points behind Barcelona. At the same time Liverpool are rising to be one of the best teams in Europe; fixed in a fierce title race with Man City.
Isco finds himself out of the first team picture in Madrid. He has not started a league game since October. He could be headed for the exit door in a clear out of under performing talent on big contracts.
Transfermarkt.com has the Spanish international valued at £51 million which is a realistic market value for the 26-year-old.
Man Utd will certainly rival Liverpool financially for the midfielder but they can’t match the opportunity for glory that this current side can under Klopp.
