Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren is calling out his teammate Mohamed Salah on social media for being fake after the forward posted a doctored photo.

While most Liverpool players were posting delight and celebration after Friday night’s excellent 3-1 win over Southampton, Dejan Lovren found time to rib his buddy Mohamed Salah.

The two have developed a long-standing bromance off the pitch and on social media. And just like real life brothers they enjoy giving each other a hard time.

Salah broke his nine match goalless streak with the game winner to put Liverpool top of the table and keep the pressure on Manchester City. His relief was on clear display when he pulled of his shirt to celebrate the goal.

The Egyptian posted a photo of the scene on Instagram on Saturday but Lovren noticed something about pic. In the comments below he says:

“I see contrast and brightness are used in this picture 😁😂😘”

The implication is clear: Salah used a filter to make his abs and muscles look more defined to impress the world with his toned physique.

It is a huge week for Liverpool as they are getting ready to face Porto tomorrow in the quarter-finals of the Champions League. They then face Chelsea at Anfield in the biggest remaining game of the Premier League season before the return leg in Porto next Wednesday.
