Liverpool are interested in bringing hot Ajax winger David Neres to Anfield this summer according to the latest transfer reports from France.

Liverpool Football Club are one of a few sides who are tracking Ajax attacker David Neres according to the latest reports from the French press. The Reds are looking to add the winger to the roster in the summer transfer window.

Le10Sport.com has revealed that PSG and Borussia Dortmund are also interested in the Brazilian with the German side already tabling a bid of €40 million. The Reds are keeping a close eye on the situation and that price range would not be prohibitive of move.

More from Rush The Kop

He caught the eye of many Liverpool fans last night with his stunning equalizer for Ajax against Juventus in the Champions League quarter-final.

The 22-year-old has put together an impressive season for the Dutch side scoring 11 goals and grabbing 10 assists and is well on his way to equalling his tally of 14 goals and 11 assists from last season.

The pacy winger has the kind of technique and tactical versatility that Jurgen Klopp loves. He has split his time evenly between both left and right wings this season and has also played a few games in an attacking central role.

That would allow him to cover both Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah but it is Roberto Firmino who he shares the most in common with; he shares his countryman’s love of scoring no-look goals!

Any hesitation on the Reds part is probably due to how they are balancing a handful of potential deals. Julian Brandt is yet to decide his future next season but Liverpool would like to pay his £25 million release clause and bring him Anfield.

There is still an outside chance of Timo Werner being a Liverpool player next season as the striker has yet to confirm his rumored move to Bayern Munich.
