Liverpool beat Porto 4-1 in the Champions League after Roberto Firmino came off the bench to score. Watch the Reds rock Portugal here!

Divock Origi was a surprise starter as Jurgen Klopp decided to leave Firmino out of the starting XI at the Estádio do Dragão.

Origi only lasted 45 minutes and was hooked after suffering some maltreated at the hands of grizzled defender Pepe, and was forced to watch from the sidelines as Bobby changed the course of the game.

Firmino is a firm Kop favourite and you can see why he’s so important to the way Klopp plays his football. The gaffer loves him, we love him, everyone loves him! And the travelling support were keen to let the whole of Porto know that they think of the Dazzler.

The 27-year-old is a big game player when it comes to the Champions League and has four goals and one assist in his 10 starts.

He loves playing against Porto especially, and has hit the back of the net twice and set up another in the two games against them this campaign. This goes alongside his goal and assist in the same fixture last season – which was part of his incredible Champions League form for 2017/2018.

Firmino was an absolute terror and scored 10 goals in 13 games alongside eight assists as he hit the back of the net 27 times across 54 appearances – all while setting up another 17.

Things are going well for Bobby, even if Liverpool could do with signing someone to provide quality back-up. We’ve seen that Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi are off the mark, and both could be out of the club come the summer.
