Liverpool fans showed no mercy to ex-Red striker Luis Suarez as they flood the internet with jokes after the victory over Barcelona in the Champions League.

There is an abundance of Liverpool content on the internet this morning in the aftermath of the 4-0 victory over Barcelona to progress to the Champions League final. However the best stuff is the trolling of Luis Suarez.

He claimed before the game that he wouldn’t celebrate if he scored out of respect for his time at the club. Well he didn’t get the chance.

Since he left Anfield he has added a few tattoos. Liverpool fans found a way to laugh at the prominent tattoo on his neck.

More from Rush The Kop

The Barcelona forward holds an interesting place in the Liverpool fanbase. There has always been huge appreciation for his performances and goals in a Red shirt. Many believe him to be the most talented player in the club’s history.

However the biting incidents, the alleged racial abuse of Patrice Evra and the manner which jockeyed for a move to Barcelona have given the fans little reason to love him after his departure in 2014.

His dirty tactics in the first leg killed any lingering sympathy towards the Uruguayan. Diving, snide tackles and getting in Andrew Robertson‘s face after they scored. The Kop was ready with the ‘F*ck off Suarez’ chants.

It was another terrible night for Philippe Coutinho who moved to Barcelona in search of European glory and now has to watch his former team mates play in the Champions League final for the second time since he left Liverpool less than 18 months ago.

The Champions League final is on June 1st in Madrid and it feels like an eternity away. There is the small matter of the last day of the Premier League season to contend with first!
