Bundesliga outfit already in talks for Reds 23-year-old
A Bundesliga outfit is already in talks with Liverpool over a deal for 23-year-old Marko Grujic.
Hertha Berlin had Grujic on loan for the 2018/2019 season and would like the Serbian to return to the German capitol for a second stint, said Kicker.
Director of sport Michael Preetz has confirmed Hertha want to extend his loan deal for another year, wrote the publication, and that talks between Preetz and Jurgen Klopp have already happened.
Talking about the future, Preetz added that he wanted to do everything in his power to make sure the midfielder would be preparing for another campaign with the blue and white stripes on his shirt.

Liverpool have got a Champions League final to worry about first though, and discussions about Grujic’s future will be shelved until the conclusion of the final against Tottenham Hotspur.
After half a season with Cardiff City in the Championship, the Serb was sent to Germany for his first full taste of top flight football. Grujic has impressed Hertha with his five goals and one assist from 22 league appearances.
Liverpool have got plenty of options across their midfield as well, so this deal could work in their favour.
Grujic will either improve and reach a level where he can compete for a place with the Reds, or increase in value and will be sold off for a profit.
One thing which may count against Hertha is their inability to qualify for any European competition due to their 11th placed finish – which means Grujic will be playing only in a domestic league.
Klopp has a lot of thinking to do when his loan players start filtering back from their temporary moves. Among them will be the Harry Wilson problem, while Ryan Kent, Ovie Ejaria and Sheyi Ojo will also need new clubs in the summer.
