Liverpool fans are in awe of Michael Edwards once more as the club look to secure a £10 million deal for on-loan striker Taiwo Awoniyi this transfer window.
The legend of Michael Edwards grows by the day. Fans across the world are being impressed again with his moves in the transfer market. The latest deal is the club moving to secure a £10 million deal for on-loan striker Taiwo Awoniyi.
The Liverpool ECHO have revealed that the Reds are looking to gain a sizable transfer fee for the Nigerian striker who has bagged 7 goal in just 13 appearances while on loan at Royal Excel Mouscron in the Belgian league this season.

He arrived at Anfield in 2015 but has yet to play a game for the club as they have been awaiting his eligibility for a UK work permit.
This is his fifth loan spell since signing and Michael Edwards wants to cash in on the highly rated forward while he still can.
It is another example of the club receiving big sums for players that are on the fringes and unlikely to make an impact in Jurgen Klopp’s first team.
The club sold Dominic Solanke to Bournemouth for a whopping £19 million in January. He only managed one goal in 21 appearances for the Reds but Edwards still managed to take his talent to the bank.
Other on loan players Liverpool could cash in on this summer include Marko Grujic, Harry Wilson and Ryan Kent.
All three have had very successful spells away from the club this year and could all conceivably play a part in pre-season and compete for places in the first team squad. However all them are also at peak value and could be sold to help finance some big money squad moves instead.
Either way Liverpool will be in good shape. A crop of hungry young players on form trying to impress the manager or a huge boost to the transfer budget.
