Five reasons Liverpool will hammer Spurs in the Champions League final

Liverpool are preparing to face Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League final this weekend. Here are five reasons the Reds will hammer Spurs on Saturday.
For the second year in a row, Liverpool will be playing all the way until the end of the season. They’ve made it back to the Champions League final where they will play Tottenham Hotspur in Madrid. Whisper it, but the Reds are heavy favorites to beat Spurs.
It’s an unusual place for the club to be in – they have rarely been the bookies favorite heading in to European Cup finals but this year Liverpool are the clear Alpha in the fight.

That doesn’t mean the game will be easy. If you have watched Liverpool for any length of time there will be plenty of sweating, nail-biting and angst on Saturday.
Look how we qualified for the final. Giving up a three goal deficit in Barcelona and needing a miracle at Anfield to progress. But these boys have some magic up their sleeves.
Spurs are a different beast to Barca. For a start they can defend. They also have a manager in Mauricio Pochettino who can game plan with the best of them and adapt within the match.
The league game between the two sides early last month proved that. Jurgen Klopp’s men dominated the first half but the mid-game adjustments from Spurs made it a pretty even game before the late (fortunate) winner from a Toby Alderweireld own goal.
However, I believe that Liverpool won’t need divine intervention in Madrid. If the ref is fair (please God) and there isn’t insane luck for Spurs – then I think the Reds will run home as (fairly) comfortable winners.
