Announce Mbappe! Every Liverpool fan responds to transfer news

Liverpool fans are rushing to social media with the same message for John Henry to sign Kylian Mbappe after he promised heavy transfer spending this summer.

Liverpool owner John W. Henry is receiving a barrage of the same idea on social media after he spoke to Sky Sports about transfer investment this summer. The message from the fans is clear: Announce Mbappe!

Speaking to Kaveh Solhekol the American owner revealed that winning the Champions League final against Spurs tomorrow evening will not make up for missing out on the Premier League to Man City by a point this season.

That has led to scores of Liverpool fans saying “Announce Mbappe” to John Henry and Liverpool journalists.

Henry is used to this kind of fandom. He joked about it in 2014 by tweeting “Oh and sign Reus” after he had received that request a million times from Reds. We’ve just upped our sights from Marco Reus to Kylian Mbappe!
