Michael Edwards is a wizard! Liverpool fans react to miracle transfer move
By David Gate
Liverpool fans are praising the genius of Michael Edwards again as he looks to push through a £25 million transfer to send Dejan Lovren to AC Milan this summer.
Liverpool are weighing the possibility of selling Dejan Lovren to AC Milan in this transfer window according trusted journalists. If the club secure the £25 million transfer fee they are aiming for then there will be no shortage of praise for sporting director Michael Edwards once more.
Edwards has become an almost mythical figure in the Liverpool fan base after a near perfect set of incoming and outgoing transfers over the last 36 months.

The quality of players Edwards has brought in has been outstanding with his 2018 haul of Virgil van Dijk, Alisson Becker, Fabinho, Naby Keita and Xherdan Shaqiri being crucial to last season’s record Premier League campaign and Champions League victory.
But it is the players he has sold and the fees he has received from them that has cemented his reputation as a master at both ends of the table. He secured huge fees for Dominic Solanke, Christian Benteke, Mamadou Sakho and Jordan Ibe to name just a few.
Now he could be adding another monster fee for Dejan Lovren to that list. AC Milan are looking to bolster a terrible defense and their incoming sporting director is a huge fan of Lovren.
The Croatian will be 30-years-old when next season starts and securing a £25 million fee for him would be outstanding business.
The Reds are in no hurry to move him on as he is a hugely experienced option at the position. But with van Dijk, Joel Matip and Joe Gomez all ahead of him it is likely he will not pass up an opportunity for first team football at a European giant like AC Milan.
One player who would be devastated to see him leave is Mohamed Salah. The pair has developed a bromance over the last two years and the Egyptian will have to find a new seat buddy for away trips.
