No brainer! Get him in! Liverpool fans react to Nabil Fekir transfer news

Liverpool fans are calling a transfer move for Lyon midfielder Nabil Fekir a ‘no-brainer’ after French journalists reveal his rumored transfer fee.
I have not had the energy to engage in any meaningful talk about the recent transfer rumors of Liverpool returning to a deal for Lyon playmaker Nabil Fekir.
The embarrassing transfer debacle of last summer is not something I am keen to live through again. But the news today that he may only cost £27 million has sucked me back into the story.

While many outlets reported the Le Proges article stating the Reds reignited interest I chose to bypass that story until it was picked up by other sources. But now that CANAL+ and Eurosport have begun to report it there appears to be a slither of credibility.
However this tweet from Eurosport journalist Romain Collet-Gaudin claiming a €30 million fee throws the transfer squarely into the realm of the possible.
I am certain that Liverpool would not be interested in a midfielder for anywhere near the original £50 million fee from last summer. That position is stacked with Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain set to vie for a starting role as creative midfielder.
However at that price the Reds may want to pick him up purely as another attacking option – a true number 10 who can also cover the wing positions. Though I believe Liverpool really want a fourth forward who can match Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah for pace – Nicolas Pepe fits the bill.
Liverpool will be competing in four competitions next season plus the European Super Cup, Community Shield and World Club Cup. There will be plenty of games for Jurgen Klopp to rotate players and try new combinations.
This transfer move could mean that either Xherdan Shaqiri or Adam Lallana would be moved on this summer. The Reds could make a quick £10 million profit on Shaqiri and Lallana is on big wages for a player who has barely contributed in two years.
