Liverpool man Adam Lallana wants Jordan Henderson to be annoying for 20 years after he posted another picture of himself lifting the Champions League cup.

The Reds won the European cup 16 days ago but Henderson still hasn’t stopped getting pictures of it all over your timeline.

And Lallana absolutely loves it. To be honest, so do we.

It was a monumental moment for Liverpool, for the city and for what Jurgen Klopp is trying to do and build with this team.

On a personal level, it was a milestone that many though Henderson would never reach. The midfielder is the first to receive criticism and the last to receive praise, but he’s proven himself as a midfielder of genuine quality this season.

Henderson has given his all for Liverpool, he’s lead from the front and he’s made game changing contributions at exactly the right moment. Lallana wants him to remind us of the Champions League win for the next two decades, but I want him to remind us for the rest of his life.

For the club to come through the game with Barcelona, to escape out of that group after the position they found themselves in and then to beat Bayern Munich along the way was nothing short of spectacular.

Never mind that, but it was combined with a breathless league campaign that saw the side only lose once and concede just 22 goals. It was nearly the perfect season and I hope we never, ever forget about it.

Unfortunately for Lallana, his contribution was less important than that of his former England teammate. The playmaker has had a tough campaign but continues to be thought of highly from within the Liverpool system.

What will happen to him next? Only Klopp knows. But hopefully Lallana continues to encourage all members of the Liverpool squad to continue annoying everyone with Champions League posts.
